Eco-Adventure Therapy

Eco-adventure therapy at Design Recovery is a nature-based, experiential approach to healing that uses outdoor activities as powerful tools for emotional growth, resilience, and connection. Blending clinical insight with the restorative effects of nature, this therapy invites clients to step out of traditional settings and into environments that support transformation.

Our eco-therapies include surfing, beach walks, disc golf, hiking, rock climbing, and more—each activity intentionally designed to engage the body, challenge the mind, and create space for healing. These adventures aren’t just about recreation; they’re opportunities to face fears, build confidence, develop trust, and process emotions in real-time, with therapeutic support.
