Neurofeedback

We’re committed to offering innovative, evidence-based tools that support the mind-body connection in recovery — and neurofeedback is one of the powerful therapies we use to help clients heal from addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback, is a non-invasive, brain-based treatment that trains the brain to regulate itself more effectively.

During a neurofeedback session, sensors are placed on the scalp to monitor brainwave activity in real time. Clients receive visual or auditory feedback that encourages the brain to shift from dysregulated patterns — often associated with stress, trauma, and addiction — into more balanced, calm, and focused states. Over time, this process can improve emotional regulation, reduce cravings, enhance sleep, and support mental clarity.

At Design Recovery, neurofeedback is integrated into individualized treatment plans, offering clients a science-backed way to address the neurological effects of addiction and trauma. This therapy complements our clinical, experiential, and holistic services by directly supporting the brain’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate.
