Vibroacoustic Therapy

Vibroacoustic therapy is one of the unique, evidence-based tools we use to support whole-person healing. VAT combines low-frequency sound vibrations with soothing music to calm the nervous system, ease tension, and promote deep relaxation.

During a session, clients recline on a specially designed table or chair equipped with embedded speakers that deliver gentle vibrations through the body. These vibrations are paired with calming sounds and music, creating a multi-sensory experience that helps regulate heart rate, reduce anxiety, lower stress hormones, and quiet the mind.
At Design Recovery, vibroacoustic therapy is offered as a supportive, non-invasive therapy that complements our clinical and holistic services. It’s especially effective for individuals dealing with anxiety, trauma, insomnia, or heightened nervous system activation — common challenges in early recovery.

By helping the body physically relax and shift out of fight-or-flight mode, vibroacoustic therapy enhances emotional balance, improves focus, and supports the brain’s natural ability to heal. It offers clients a peaceful, restorative experience that promotes calm, grounding, and resilience throughout their recovery journey.
